David Kessler
Biography
David Kessler received his Ph.D. from Indiana University in Political Science with a dissertation on Police administration. He became involved in the Justice System when he was hired by the Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department to work on the Response Time Analysis Study. He worked for the Houston Police Department Operations Analysis unit from 1983 to 1990. He is currently an associate professor at 91²Ö¿â in Sociology and teaches courses in Justice Administration, Contemporary Policing, and Research Methods and Statistics. He has supervised numerous Master's research papers, and seven dissertations to completion. His research interest is in police administration and research methods. He has published in numerous journals including the Journal of Quantitative Criminology.
