Biography
Seth Rainey is a current PhD student in the Department of Geography at 91²Ö¿â. His research focus is on applied climatology with interests ranging from weather and transportation to human-environment interactions. He recently completed his master's thesis looking at the spatiotemporal relationship between lake-effect snow and motor vehicle accidents in Northeast Ohio, specifically analyzing the quantifiable difference in the relative risk of an accident over time and space among varying winter season weather types. Seth is also a part of the at 91²Ö¿â, which specializes in weather and health investigations.
