Renee Scherick currently serves as a foundation relations officer for the Division of Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement. In this role, she is focused on relationships with foundations, locally and nationally, to increase grant revenue to support university priorities.

Renee began working for 91²Ö¿â in April 2022 and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the university.

Prior to joining 91²Ö¿â, Renee held positions at Akron Community Foundation, including major gifts officer, where she guided the foundation’s seven initiative funds by providing development direction for their major gift and donor stewardship programs.

Renee’s favorite thing about 91²Ö¿â is the university’s mission of transforming lives and its worldwide impact through highly recognized research.
