Join KEEP over the lunch hour for round-table-style discussions with professionals in a variety of fields.
Why group mentoring? Group mentoring allows a mentor to reach multiple mentees at once. Although structured as a group setting, each individual mentee can grow professionally through group mentoring.

New Skills, New Friends at OSC Summer STEM Camps
The Ohio Supercomputer Center (OSC) residential summer programs empower students to pursue STEM-related interests through high-impact learning experiences and immersive teamwork. In the two-week Summer Institute, rising 10-12th graders explore high performance computing, programming and visualization. In the week-long Young Women's Summer Institute, rising 7-8th grade girls learn STEM skills and scientific problem solving. Applications are due April 15 at .

How do I update the beneficiary for my life insurance as my family grows and changes?
This is a great question and an often-overlooked matter. Your life insurance beneficiary, as declared on the form you provided to the Benefits office, is the person who will receive the funds from your life insurance policy should you decease. Quite often, an employee may want to reassess their primary, and/or secondary beneficiary designee(s) over time. It’s a good idea to keep your beneficiary information current as you make other financial security decisions.
Fortunately, updating your beneficiary is easy. You can download a new beneficiary designation form . Once completed and signed, you can scan and email it to benefits@kent.edu, fax it to 330-672-5447, or hand-deliver it to the Employee Benefits Office in Heer Hall, on the Kent campus. You changes will become effective immediately.

Wellness Your Way Tier 1 Deadline is April 30
Full time, benefits-eligible employees who practice healthy behaviors can earn $300 each year for participating in the two-tiered Wellness Your Way Rewards Program. Completing Tier 1 is worth $100, and participants have until April 30 to complete the following three steps:

- Know Your Numbers Health Screening - a few slots are still available on April 28
Health screenings can be completed with your primary care physician or onsite with Be Well Solutions. Login to the Be Well portal to schedule a screening or access the Physician Screening Form. The final onsite screenings at the Kent campus are on April 12 and 28.
To schedule an onsite screening with Be Well Solutions, login to your and click on "Worksite Screenings" under "My Appointments." Choose a screening date and then click on a green "Select" button to secure your spot. If you do not see any green buttons, the slots have been filled.
