Weight Watchers (WW) Update:  New Opportunity to Save through Medical Mutual

WW has discontinued Workshops in the Workplace, and as a result, 91²Ö¿â will no longer have a WW at Work program or affiliated Employer ID.

Any KSU community member (including full and part time faculty and staff, retirees, family members, and students) can still join with 91²Ö¿â's employer ID (20894) through Dec. 31, 2020. All who have already joined by Dec. 31 will be locked in at the employer rate until discontinuing their membership or joining under a new plan. Existing memberships will not be affected.

The Good News: Medical Mutual members can start or renew a WW membership today and save almost 50 percent off the regular cost!

Although our Employer ID is going away, we are pleased to inform you of a new opportunity to save. Through 91²Ö¿â's partnership with Medical Mutual of Ohio (MMO), employees and their dependents aged 18 or older who are covered under the university-sponsored health plan can join WW at a rate as low as $11.87 per month. Any MMO member who is already a WW member can switch their current membership to this rate and keep their account history.

Eligible employees can enroll in WW by emailing ww@medmutual.com or calling 1-800-251-2583 and leaving a detailed message that includes: first and last name, date of birth, address, email address, phone number, and member ID number from your Medical Mutual member card. For more information on the different types of memberships and how to enroll, you may also visit our WW webpage at www.kent.edu/hr/wellness/ww.

If you have questions or need assistance enrolling, please contact Medical Mutual at the email or phone number listed above. If you have questions about this offering or other wellness offerings for faculty and staff, please contact Employee Wellness at wellness@kent.edu or 330-672-0392.
