Biography
I have been a Registered Nurse for over 30 years and teaching at 91²Ö¿â for 11 years. My specialty areas are in Geriatrics, Chronic Illness, and Rehabilitation/Disability.
After many years in the private sector in various roles as Staff Nurse, Rehabilitation Case Manager, and Supervisor, I returned to get my Master's Degree in 2002. I graduated from Kent with an MSN concentration as a Clinical Nurse Specialist, Geriatrics. I started teaching in the Undergraduate program in Fall of 2006 and have found my professional passion.
I've had certification from the National League of Nursing as a Certified Nurse Educator for over 5 years and recently finished a Faculty Scholar Program through 91²Ö¿â's Center for Teaching and Learning.
