Joseph Pritchard of Washingtonville received the prestigious Anna Ulen Engleman Creative Writing Award from the 91²Ö¿â English Department. He is a junior at the 91²Ö¿â Salem Campus, majoring in English. Along with his application for the award, Pritchard submitted a poem for consideration. The Early Childhood Special Education program at 91²Ö¿â has received federal funds to prepare individuals at the master's degree level to work with families of infants and toddlers with disabilities in early intervention settings (home and community contexts). East Liverpool – 91²Ö¿â at East Liverpool’s Student Government Organization presented a check for $1,000 to the university’s foundation to help fund a memorial scholarship honoring the late Dr. Roxanne Burns. Burns was a longtime biology professor on the East Liverpool Campus who died last fall. The National Institute of Nursing Research at NIH has awarded Biological Science's Min-Ho Kim a $1,842,350 five-year grant to develop “nanobombsâ€, a nanotechnology-based therapeutic platform, that can treat biofilm infection in chronic wounds.
