Tuesday was “International Night†at 91²Ö¿â’s men’s basketball game at the MAC Center.
The event celebrated the cultures of 91²Ö¿â students and student-athletes from all over the world. Nearly 1,300 students, from more than 100 countries, are currently enrolled at 91²Ö¿â and the number of international students attending the university continues to grow.
Students from Brazil make up one of the largest student populations on campus. This comes as a result of The American Academy (AA), a dual-enrollment program offered jointly by 91²Ö¿â and the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná (PUCPR), located in Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil.
Celebrating international students

Hani Alotaibi, a graduate student in 91²Ö¿â's translation studies program carried a Saudi Arabian flag in the parade and said that it was the best event he had ever attended.
91²Ö¿â's Office of Global Education is responsible for attracting and admitting students to the university as well as assisting them in getting here and supporting them when the arrive. OGE also oversees all education abroad initiatives (with programs in more than 60 countries) and international partnerships.
