Tabitha Messmore
Biography
As the Assistant Director of LaunchNET, Tabitha combines her entrepreneurial experience with skills and background in writing, marketing, and teaching to help clients bring their ideas to fruition. She specializes in pitch design, presentations, marketing/communications, and program creation. Tabitha is a doctoral candidate in the first cohort of the 91²Ö¿â EdD in Interprofessional Leadership, focused on the cultural foundations of entrepreneurship education.
Tabitha has tutored legal writing at The University of Akron School of Law, taught Composition at The University of Akron, consulted for a variety of local businesses, and written on writing theory, linguistics, and professional writing. She has presented and been a panelist at numerous conferences, including multiple years of the Deshpande Symposium on Innovation & Entrepreneurship in Higher Ed, Global Consortium of Entrepreneurship Centers conference, 91²Ö¿â Anti-Racism conference, and the Legal Storytelling Conference in London, UK. She is the current Managing Editor of the and has co-authored an on multicultural communication in education, published in May 2014.
