The Winner’s Stand
Past Idea Olympic winners have come from hackathon teams and individuals from all backgrounds and majors, and undergraduate winners are eligible to compete for a larger prize at the regional Idea Labs event, sponsored by the Entrepreneurship Education Consortium.
Last year’s winner, Symone Baskerville, senior Fashion Design major, and founder of Kent Fabrics, used Idea Olympics as a springboard: “Idea Olympics gave me the confidence to start my business and to compete in other pitch competitions. It’s a great experience to be around so many other students excited about growing their startups!â€
