Members of the University Community:
91²Ö¿â has launched a national search for an outstanding leader, communicator and collaborator to serve as our vice president for student affairs. This individual will lead institutional efforts aimed toward enhancing the engaged co-curricular lives of all students within our eight-campus system.
Alfreda Brown, Ed.D., vice president for diversity, equity and inclusion, is serving as chair of a 12-member search committee, and the executive search firm Brill Neumann Associates has been retained to assist in the process. The committee is charged with attracting and screening top candidates and making a recommendation to the president of well-qualified finalists from whom to select for campus visits and public interviews by the end of April.
Serving with Vice President Brown on the committee are: Jennifer Bryant, graduate student trustee; Brian Cannon, executive director, Undergraduate Student Government; Danyelle Chambers, Student Diversity Advisory Council; Angela DeJulius, M.D., director, University Health Services; Laurie Donley, director, Enrollment Management and Student Services, Tuscarawas Campus; Amoaba Gooden, Ph.D., chair and associate professor, Department of Pan-African Studies; Jennifer Kulics, Ph.D., interim associate vice president and dean of students; Mark Kretovics, Ph.D., interim dean, College of Education, Health and Human Services, and associate professor, Higher Education Administration; Kate McAnulty, Ph.D., assistant dean, Graduate Studies; Eboni Pringle, Ph.D., dean, University College; and Chris Woolverton, Ph.D., professor, Environmental Health Sciences, and interim chair, Health Policy and Management.
This is an exciting opportunity for a collaborative student affairs leader to make a significant contribution to 91²Ö¿â at a transformative moment in our history. I am confident our search committee, with the talented support of Brill Neumann Associates, will deliver top candidates for consideration.
