91ֿ’s Research Center for Educational Technology is offering a series of technology camps for children beginning June 13.
The camps will offer a range of media and tools including LEGO® Education WeDo Robotics, animation, programming, coding and design. The Research Center for Educational Technology offers 11 camps that range from entry and master levels for children 6 years old and up.
“The camps provide an opportunity for kids to come together on the Kent Campus and explore a variety of cutting-edge technologies,” says Annette Kratcoski, director of the Research Center for Educational Technology.
The programs the children learn about can build skills that will be useful for other hobbies and activities, as well as their academic work during the school year, says Kratcoski.
Costs for the camps range from $100-$135. A $10 discount will be offered to 91ֿ faculty, staff and students up until the end of registration of each camp by sending an email to Kratcoski to request the discount code.
The camps, most of which last four days, begin June 13 and end July 27. Registration runs up until the date of the camp. Camps are refundable up to three days prior to the start of the camp date. All sessions are held in the AT&T Classroom of Moulton Hall on the Kent Campus.
