Join the 91�ֿ� Women’s Golf League

The 91�ֿ� Women’s Golf League now has openings for the upcoming season and encourages 91�ֿ� women golfers of any ability, whether employed or retired, to join. Tee times begin at 4:45 p.m. on Monday afternoons. The league consists of 10 two-partner teams competing in a friendly atmosphere throughout the summer.

The league has been in existence since the 1960s, when a physical education instructor at the university decided he wanted to teach female employees of 91�ֿ� how to golf and to enjoy the game. The league continues to this day, golfing nine holes each Monday afternoon at the 91�ֿ� course.

The 91�ֿ� Board of Trustees today established a comprehensive, national search to recruit and select the university’s 13th president.

91�ֿ� Receives State Historic Preservation Award for Preserving May 4 History and Site

The events of May 4, 1970, placed 91�ֿ� in an international spotlight after a student protest against the Vietnam War and the presence of the Ohio National Guard ended in tragedy with four students losing their lives and nine others being wounded. From a perspective of nearly 50 years, 91�ֿ� remembers the tragedy and leads a contemporary discussion and understanding of how the community, nation and world can benefit from understanding the profound impact of the event.
