Gov. John Kasich has appointed Jessica Peck of Valley City, Ohio, to a two-year term as a graduate student trustee of the 91²Ö¿â Board of Trustees. Peck’s term began on July 14, 2017, and ends May 16, 2019.
Peck brings strong academic and professional experience to the Board. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Business Administration in 91²Ö¿â’s College of Business Administration, with a concentration in management.
Peck received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University in 2008 and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from 91²Ö¿â in 2014.
She is active in 91²Ö¿â’s College of Business Administration. Since 2013, Peck has served as an instructor and teaching assistant. She has been a member of the Graduate Student Advisory Board and the Undergraduate College of Business Curriculum Committee. Peck was appointed to the College of Business Administration’s Scholarship Review Committee and the MBA Subcommittee. She also has served as a volunteer accounting tutor. In 2014, Peck received the college’s Outstanding MBA Student Award, an honor bestowed to the top MBA student by professors and professionals.
In 2008, Peck started developing her corporate work experience at Owens Corning, a global company located in Toledo that develops and produces insulation, roofing and fiberglass composites. Peck served as a senior auditor, leading teams to test financial and internal controls worldwide. She also held the positions of internal auditor, business unit analyst, external reporting analyst and manufacturing cost analyst.
Peck has been a member of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, the Academy of Management and the Society for Human Resource Management. She received her Six Sigma Green Belt certification in 2009.
Her research interests include leadership, impression management, selection tools and assessments, and the interview and human resource management practices.
