University College and the Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion will host 91²Ö¿â's Diversity and Scholarship Celebration on Saturday, Oct. 6, at the 91²Ö¿â Hotel and Conference Center. 
The Diversity and Scholarship Celebration recognizes students, faculty, alumni and community supporters who provide outreach support and programs focused on increasing the success of underrepresented and/or underserved students at 91²Ö¿â.
Tickets for this event are $50 per person and are available for purchase now at www.kent.edu/ksudsc. The announcement of the 2018 award recipients is forthcoming.
The event will begin with a cocktail reception at 7:30 p.m. followed by the award presentation at 8 p.m. Music and dancing will commence at the conclusion of the award presentation. Wayne Dawson, WJW-Fox 8 morning anchor and 91²Ö¿â alumnus, will host this celebration.
