EHHS Diversity, Outreach and Development Holds LinkedUP! Homecoming Event

EHHS alumni Odell Morgan, LCMFT, mental health services clinician and LGBTQ+ coordinator at Johns Hopkins University, will present "Navigating Intersecting Identities Within Professional Settings," on Friday, Sept. 27, from 3 - 5 p.m. in room 027 in the Kent Student Center.

Odell Morgan, a Cleveland, Ohio native, is a licensed psychotherapist in Kentucky, Maryland, and Washington, DC. He holds an Associate of Arts degree from Cuyahoga Community College and a Bachelor of Science from 91²Ö¿â, majoring in Human Development and Family Studies with a concentration as a Family Life Educator. Odell earned his Master of Science degree from the University of New Hampshire, where he became the first African-American male to graduate from the Marriage and Family Therapy program. He also holds a Post-Master’s Certificate in Advanced Psychodynamic Psychotherapy from Loyola University Chicago.

Currently, Odell serves as a Mental Health Services Clinician and LGBTQ+ Services Coordinator at Johns Hopkins University Student Health & Well-Being, in addition to maintaining a private practice. As a psychotherapist, he is committed to the belief that individuals should be defined by their ABILITIES, not their disabilities. Odell has a particular passion for working with minority families, individuals with intellectual disabilities, LGBTQIA individuals, and men of color, bringing together his skills and dedication to support these communities.
