Biography
I joined the faculty of 91ֿ as a clinical instructor in the graduate program for Speech Language Pathology in 2012. I have worked as a speech language pathologist in the settings of long-term care, outpatient rehab, home health, and private practice. I have also managed a number of federally and privately funded research grants, focusing on interventions for older adults with cognitive impairments, which is my primary area of interest. I am co-author of the treatment manual, "Here's How to Treat Dementia" published by Plural Publishing in 2013, a regular presenter at the annual convention of the American Speech Language and Hearing Association and a content contributor to the continuing education websites, and The SLP Solution. I earned my B.S. Ed. from Miami University and my M.A. from Case Western Reserve University.
