Kathy J. Siesel, D.P.M.
Biography
Dr. Siesel is an Associate Professor in the Division of Clinical Sciences at the 91²Ö¿â College of Podiatric Medicine (KSUCPM). She completed her undergraduate work at Bowling Green State University in Ohio, and earned her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the former Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine (OCPM), now the 91²Ö¿â College of Podiatric Medicine. She completed a residency and fellowship in podiatric orthopedics with the Cleveland Foot Clinic, now the Cleveland Foot & Ankle Clinic.
Dr. Siesel created a heel insert device, and was granted a U.S. patent for her innovative podiatric apparatus. She is a member of the CPM Alumni Association, the Northeast Ohio Academy of Podiatric Medicine, the Ohio Foot and Ankle Medical Association and the American Podiatric Medical Association. She is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine.
Dr. Siesel continues to strive toward excellence in her professional endeavors by teaching student doctors to help them understand podiatric biomechanics and the methods to treat patients. She volunteers to provide foot care at local running events from half-marathon to 24-hour distances and encourages her students to attend in order to further their education and learn about injuries that are seldom presented in an office setting.
