Hayden will speak on the historic role of student-led democracy struggles and their role in historic American social movements,
and why the United States is so bitterly divided over issues going back centuries: the right to vote, race and class. His presentation
will include a PowerPoint depiction of the process of social movements confronting Machiavellian power.
