Madelyn Orcutt is an interior designer at Richardson Design in Cleveland, Ohio. She joined the company in 2021 after receiving her Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design at 91�ֿ�. Madelyn specializes in hospitality projects within the greater Cleveland area. She has worked with a variety of clients from start-up business owners to well-acclaimed chefs in the booming culinary scene of Cleveland. With only a few years in the professional field of interior design, Madelyn looks at the profession with a fresh set of eyes.

During her time at 91�ֿ�, she excelled at learning outside of the classroom. She studied in Florence, Italy (2020) and participated in a ten-day workshop in New York City (2019). Beyond traveling, she worked as a research assistant, studio course assistant, and participated in the 91�ֿ� Undergraduate Research Symposium where she presented her paper, “Performing Taste: The Queer Modernity of Designer Elsie de Wolfe.” Madelyn’s academic success was well awarded by Metropolis Magazine as one of their “Future100” recipients for the class of 2021.
