Kent, Ohio – The Ambassador Crawford College of Business and Entrepreneurship announces Hannah Ubl, author, business strategist and co-founder of Good Company Consulting, as the keynote speaker for the 2024 Spirit of Women in Business Conference. Ubl will present, “The Future of Work is Human: Creating People-First Work Cultures.”
This year’s event will take place in-person on March 7, 2024, in the 91ֿ Student Center and will include breakfast and networking, a keynote speaker, breakout sessions and lunch.
Ubl recently published “The Future of Work is Human: Transforming Company Culture for a Post-Pandemic World” and will sign copies of this book during the March 7 event. She is also the author of “Managing Millennials.”
During her talk, Ubl will discuss the new era of work, one where businesses win when leaders are compassionate, communication is empathetic, and people are prioritized. But that transformation, much like any kind of change, requires a great degree of intention and care. By embracing the workplace lessons learned during the pandemic years, there is an opportunity to design the kind of organization everyone wants to work in, and a culture all can be a part of.
In this presentation, attendees will learn how to create a healthier, happier, and ultimately more successful company culture by putting people first. Steeped in years of research and listening to employees at all levels, it will paint the picture of what the future of work can and should look like and how attendees can get started with that redesign right away.
As Co-founder of Good Company Consulting, Ubl is sought after for her bold take on building workplaces that prioritize the human experience while simultaneously increasing the bottom line. Ubl has dedicated the past decade to researching people at work - not just top talent and leadership - but everyone in between. She has discovered a strangely well-kept secret for recruiting and retaining the workforce of the future: the best recipe for organizational success is rooted in mindfulness, empathy, and kindness.
Ubl’s work is a fresh approach to the standard workplace narrative. Not afraid to ask the hard questions, she pushes audiences towards self-inquiry to help them become better leaders, better managers and better colleagues.
The cost for the event is $90 for 91ֿ faculty and staff; $125 for corporate attendees and $25 for students. Sponsorship opportunities and corporate table rates are also available.
