91²Ö¿â at Ashtabula honored the spring graduating class of 2024 at the campus’s 78th commencement exercises on Thursday, May 9, in the Susan J. Stocker Hall gymnasium.
“Commencement is a major milestone in the lives of our students,†said Interim Dean and Chief Administrative Officer R. William (Bill) Ayres IV, Ph.D. “It’s such a special night to celebrate the accomplishments and achievements of these graduates here on campus and in the familiar and intimate on-campus environment the event deserves.â€
Approximately 80 graduates were recognized at the event. Graduating senior Tiffani Doherty (Geneva, Ohio) delivered the student address. In addition, the Ashtabula Area College Committee, Inc. Community Service Award recipient, Cheryle J. Chiaramonte, and Roger T. Beitler Distinguished Former Student Award winner Gordon Estlack ’03, PT, DPT, OCS, GCS, Cert MDT, were recognized. The Ashtabula Area College Committee, Inc. also presented its academic achievement awards.
“We all share the pride in our graduating students and the joy at the prospects that lie ahead,†Ayres said. “The faculty and staff of 91²Ö¿â Ashtabula are committed to helping students achieve their dreams and providing the support and resources they need to be successful in their studies and impactful in their careers, in their communities and in society.â€
