Ashtabula Campus Announces Rescheduled Commencement Date

91ֿ at Ashtabula has announced a new date to honor the fall graduating class as it will hold the campus’s 79th commencement exercises on Friday, Jan. 10, 2025, beginning at 6 p.m. in Susan J. Stocker Hall.

"We are thrilled to announce the new date for our commencement ceremony, a time to celebrate the incredible achievements of our graduating class,” said R. William (Bill) Ayres, IV, Ph.D., dean and chief administrative officer at 91ֿ Ashtabula. “While we had to adjust our original plans, we remain committed to honoring the hard work and dedication of our students, their families, and our faculty. We look forward to coming together as a community on January 10th to recognize this important milestone."

The ceremony was originally postponed due to inclement weather on Dec. 12. All previously issued tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled date. Graduates will be required to RSVP for the newly scheduled date. Email correspondence from the university will provide those details and additional information.

The rescheduled ceremony will include all the traditional elements of the commencement, including the conferral of degrees, honors and a keynote address delivered by associate professor of history and Distinguished Teaching Award recipient Bradley Keefer, Ph.D. Over 100 graduates will be recognized at the event. The Ashtabula Area College Committee, Inc. will also present its academic achievement awards.
